Job Description
We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in our engineering efforts and help us provide complete custom solutions, prepare system architectures and participate in the project life cycle – from idea to end product.
Responsibilities:
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Development, testing, and maintenance of various custom software solutions
- Providing technical support to clients
- Writing project documentation
You are also going to:
- Collaborate with colleagues while working on the project, both technical and business-oriented
- Collaborate with team members to deliver software increments with an emphasis on quality
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the development team to come up with the best technical solution for the problem
Qualifications
Required skills:
- Proactive and responsible approach to work
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Experience in Python (e.g. Flask, Django, FastAPI)
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of Linux
- Familiarity with GIT version control
- Great written and spoken English
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Machine Learning
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with modern development processes (test-driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
