Company Description
At Protostar Labs, we design and develop intelligent vision and onboard data processing systems for high-reliability environments where size, weight, power, and cost are tightly constrained. Our technologies bring intelligence directly to satellites, enabling efficient in-orbit data processing, edge AI, and more autonomous space missions.
We work on institutional and commercial space and defense projects, partnering with startups, established companies, and organizations such as the European Space Agency. While space remains our primary focus, our technologies also support demanding terrestrial sectors such as robotics, and industrial automation.
Our vision is to build a globally recognized Croatian space technology company developing advanced spacecraft subsystems and onboard intelligence for the next generation of space missions.
Role Overview
This is a varied role at the intersection of technical support, equipment management, logistics, and office operations.
You’ll coordinate day-to-day purchasing and make sure teams have the equipment, materials, tools, supplies, and other resources they need. You’ll support the organization of conferences and trade shows, coordinate deliveries and logistics, keep our equipment and inventory organized, and take care of a variety of practical operational needs around the office. The role also includes occasional support to our team in Zagreb.
No two days will look exactly the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and likes getting things done.
This isn’t a desk-only role. You should be comfortable working with equipment and tools and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed. If you’re the kind of person who can fix a loose handle, replace a broken part, or figure out how to solve a practical problem before calling someone else - even better.
We welcome applications from candidates of all genders.
